Mr. Ajaya Pathak – Founder & Managing Director, Trekking Key Travel and Adventure
Mr. Ajaya Pathak hails from the scenic village of Thapagaun in the Nuwakot District of Nepal. After completing his early education, he moved to Kathmandu to pursue higher studies in Business Management, eventually graduating with a degree in the field.
While in college, his passion for the outdoors led him to earn professional licenses as a Trekking Guide and Peak Climbing Guide from the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) and the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA).
Driven by a vision to provide exceptional travel experiences, he founded Trekking Key Travel and Adventure. Today, the company thrives under his leadership with a team of 11 energetic and like-minded professionals. The team includes experienced multilingual guides capable of leading treks and tours across Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan.
Beyond his business ventures, Mr. Pathak is also a committed social worker. A portion of the company’s revenue is allocated to support educational initiatives for underprivileged children—especially those who have lost their parents or come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. He also coordinates volunteer efforts, welcoming travelers who wish to contribute by teaching or providing basic school supplies such as paper and pencils.
