Annapurna Circuit and Tilicho Lake Trek-Cost, Distance, Itinerary, In Nepal

We will be met at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu by a representative from Himalayan Glacier, who will transport us to our accommodation. We rest or go to the Himalayan Glacier's office after checking in. We may also take a stroll through Thamel, Kathmandu's tourist district, to do some souvenir shopping. A welcome supper will be served by Himalayan Glacier in the evening. You will be served superb real Nepalese cuisine for supper, which will provide you with an introduction to Nepalese cuisine.

After breakfast, we'll go on a guided tour of Kathmandu's most important historical and spiritual sites. The historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famed 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath), and the Buddhist shrine (Bouddhanath), which is one of the world's largest stupas, are the all World Heritage Sites. A pre-trip meeting will take place at midday when we will meet our trek leader and other team members. It's a good idea to start the trek early in the morning; we'll travel by road from Kathmandu to Chamje village, which will serve as the trail's beginning point. Chamje, at an elevation of 1430 meters, is a small town in the Annapurna Region. A waterfall is a popular tourist and local attraction. The lush foliage that surrounds us will provide us with the energy we need to complete our journey. In Chamje, stay the night.

We start our journey early in the morning. The walk leads us through a variety of vegetable plantations, waterfalls, and mixed communities thought to have migrated from Tibet. We arrive at Tal after crossing the suspension bridge below Chamje and climbing two difficult stretches. We enter the Manang district from Tal. We also travel through Kodo village and walk through Dharapani, one of the largest settlements in the Manang area, on a trail that climbs and falls and cuts across a mountain slope. Dharapani is where you'll spend the night.

On our way to Chame today, we pass across a few steep, forested peaks as well as multiple landslides. However, we must remember to gaze up, as we will be rewarded with spectacular vistas of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV (7,525m). We also come across small hot springs, which will provide a welcome break from the strenuous hike and allow us to unwind for a time. Chame is the administrative center of the Manang District in Nepal's Gandaki Zone. Chame is where you'll spend the night.

The trail climbs and descends today, crossing various rivers and thinly populated villages. We go down a narrow valley to get our first glimpse of Paungda Danda, a stunning curved rock wall soaring 1500 meters above the river. We also get great views of Annapurna 2 to the south and Pisang Peak to the northeast from here. We descend to the Manang Valley floor, taking in the breathtaking scenery. Spend the night at Pisang.

There are two ways to get to Manang from Pisang. We opt for the route that travels through Upper Pisang through Geru because it offers spectacular views of Mt. Annapurna, Pisang Peak, and other peaks. The environment becomes cooler and drier as we approach Manang. However, a quick visit to Barge Monastery, the district's largest monastery, should lift our spirits. In Manang, spend the night.

After breakfast, we continue our journey up to Khangsar village. As we continue walking, the trail descends into a gorge, and the Tilicho Peak, shrouded in clouds far above, can be seen. Along the trip, we get to experience the Annapurna range's natural splendor. Before arriving at Khangsar, we pass past little beautiful communities and the Tore monastery, as well as the breathtaking Khangsar River and the Grand Barrier. Khangsar is where you'll spend the night.

We pass through large green plains on our way from Kangsar to Tilicho Lake Base Camp, and after a short climb up a tiny hill, we are rewarded with spectacular views of the entire valley. You've arrived at Tilicho Base Camp after hiking down a steep incline. Because there aren't many lodges out here, camping is the only alternative. Tilicho Base Camp is where you'll spend the night.

After a strenuous rise, our track traverses onto a moraine and then follows the mountain's side. The beautiful views of the Tilicho, Nilgiri, Khangsar, and Muktinath peaks, on the other hand, are constantly nearby to cheer us up. When we get at Tilicho Lake, one of the world's highest lakes, we are able to appreciate its serene beauty. At times, the turquoise waters reflect the surrounding peaks, while at other times, the lake is frozen. Before returning to base camp, we take a rest alongside the tranquil waters and take in the breathtaking sights. Tilicho Base Camp is where you'll spend the night.

The trail leads out of the Marsyangdi valley after returning from Tilicho Base Camp, and the drastic shift in surroundings can be seen when the trees are left behind and replaced with more alpine vegetation. Our road continues through the remnants of the old Khangsar settlement until we reach Gumsang and Yak Kharka, where we cross a log bridge over the river. Yak Kharka, a typical Himalayan village, lives up to its name, with a plethora of yaks grazing and standing around. We can also get a great glimpse of Annapurna III from here. Yak Kharka is where you'll spend the night.

To go to Thorang Phedi, you must hike uphill. We arrive in Ledar village after walking for a while and crossing a suspension bridge. Before reaching Thorang Phedi, the last settlement before the Thorong La pass, we continue ascending and pass over huge rocks. We get one of the nicest views of Mt. Gudang, Mt. Syagang, Thorung Peak, and Mt. Khatungkan on this excursion. In Nepalese, the word Phedi refers to the foot of a mountain. Thorang Phedi is where you'll spend the night.

Our final goal today will be to cross the Thorong La pass, one of the world's highest passes. We'll cross the pass from east to west (Manang to Muktinath), which is the most convenient and safe route. We get up at three a.m. and go for a hike up the mountain. When we reach the summit, we realize that our trek was well worth it. Before traveling to Muktinath Valley at the foot of the Thorong La pass, we can take a few shots. Muktinath is where you'll spend the night.

Muktinath, a sacred site for Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims, is a stunning location. Before beginning our journey, we pay a visit to the Muktinath Temple. Freshwater is poured out of water spouts piped from streams above the temple. As the trail progresses, we will be able to take in the breathtaking views of Mt. Dhaulagiri. As a souvenir, you can purchase a fossilized mollusk known as 'Shaligram.' We continue on through meadows, streams, and hills to Kagbeni, a settlement with numerous chortens (memory stupas) and a tiny monastery. As the trail passes through windy terrain, continue the walk after a lunch break at Kagbeni and over to Jomsom on the Kali Gandaki Valley. Jomsom is where you'll spend the night.

After breakfast, we travel to Pokhara. The trip itself is breathtaking; we fly over the world's deepest gorge and see views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri peaks. Pokhara's milder climate will undoubtedly make us feel better. We can take a boat trip to the calm waters of the lake, which are reflected in the waters by Fishtail Mountain. We could go to Davis Falls as well. We can take a stroll around the lakeside region in the evening and buy mementos for our loved ones. Pokhara is where you'll spend the night.

You'll fly back to Kathmandu, Nepal's capital, on another short flight. We may relax in our hotel room and enjoy the remainder of the day at our leisure. In the evening, Himalayan Glacier will throw a goodbye supper to commemorate the successful completion of our journey. In Kathmandu, spend the night.
