The Valley Ridge Trek is a short hike that offers far vistas of snow-capped mountains as well as a taste of rural Nepali living and ethnic culture. Our Valley Ridge trek begins approximately an hour outside of Kathmandu. The trip takes you across the hills that face the Langtang Himalayan Range to the northeast, offering spectacular views of the mountain.

The nicest mountain vistas can be found during the Valley Ridge walk. Mt. Everest, Mt. Ganesh Himal, Mt. Gaurishanker, Mt. Dorje Lakpa, Langtang Himalayan range, and Rolwaling Himalayan range are all visible from Nagarkot, the best observation of point on the Valley Ridge hiking path.

Itinerary

We will be met at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu by a representative who will transport us to our accommodation. We rest or go to the office after checking in. We may also take a stroll through Thamel, Kathmandu's tourist district, to do some souvenir shopping. In the evening, you will be fed superb authentic Nepalese cuisine during a welcome dinner hosted by, which will introduce you to the country's food culture.

After breakfast, we'll go on a guided tour of Kathmandu's most important historical and spiritual sites. The historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famed 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambunath), and the Buddhist shrine (Buddha Nath), which is one of the world's largest Stupas, are all World Heritage Sites. There will be a pre-trip meeting in the afternoon where we can meet our trek leader and other team members. Representatives will offer us information about our walk and give us the opportunity to ask any questions we may have about our impending experience.

After breakfast, we take a private vehicle to Sundarijal (2200m). After arriving at Sundarijal, we begin our day by hiking through Mulkharka hamlet, passing through several forests, and ascending the east ridge to Shivapuri forest. We can see many gorgeous mountains and varied landscapes from here. We make our way down to Chisapani. Chisapani is where you'll spend the night.

Today's destination is Nagarkot. We got ready for today's walk after breakfast. Today's hike is a little longer, but it'll reward you with spectacular mountain vistas all day. From the Nagarkot hill station, we watch the sunset over the mountains. Nagarkot is well-known among Kathmandu's urban residents as a close weekend getaway where they may enjoy breathtaking and panoramic views of various Himalayan ranges, including the world's highest peak, Mt. Everest, at 8,848 meters. We go to bed early because we want to see the mountain sunrise the next day. Overnight in a Nagarkot hotel.

We get up early to watch the sunrise over the eastern Himalayan peaks, which include views of Mt. Everest. We begin our walk to Banepa after breakfast. We arrive in Nala village after passing through a pine forest and various farmlands, where we visit some major shrines. We drive to Bhaktapur after visiting the temples in Banepa and observing various cultural characteristics there. We visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square and then return to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, spend the night.

As our journey in Nepal comes to a close today, we are bidding our goodbyes to the Himalayas! There's nothing to do besides exchange emails with fellow travelers and organize images. You can go shopping or sightseeing if you have extra time. A representative will pick you up from your hotel around 3 hours before your planned flight. You'll have plenty of time on the way home to plan your future excursion to Nepal's beautiful country.
